Workshops and Seminars for Organizations

Presentations provided by request to target specific areas of need related to special needs populations.  Some organizations that have requested our support include professional groups such as: beauticians/barbers, massage therapists, holistic providers, service providers, retail workers, grocery personnel, job coaches, etc.  Topics may include: introduction to specific disabilities; sensory sensitivity and its impact on behaviors; communicating with special needs clients; diversity among clientele.

 Training for Medical Professionals

Information session for medical professionals, such as dentists, pediatricians, chiropractors, counselors, nurses, emergency room and paramedic personnel, x-ray and ultrasound technicians, etc., who are interested in learning more about some of the specific needs and behaviors of their unique clients.

Specific Case Consultation

Advice and support provided with specific cases as needed to support students with difficult or unique situations that require attention.  For example, a family counselor who begins to see a family with a child/children who have special needs and would like support with developing plans for the family could benefit from this service.  Consult us with your specific condition and allow us to assist you with finding solutions for problematic issues that may arise.
